The International Centre for Integrative Emotional Therapy focuses its training on emotional development and integration. The training is designed to enhance your personal development, healing and integration of body, mind and spirit. With a solid and stable foundation of personality you will then be able to go out and work with others to facilitate them to find emotional healing and integration and so move forward in their lives.
We place great importance on sound professional training enabling students to have a good understanding of boundaries and ethics, know their subject well and be able to be empathic and challenging in the context of a good working alliance with their clients. This is developed primarily through their ongoing personal work which forms a key part of the training offered.
The courses are part-time and include two parts: EQ Bodywork Therapy and Cognitive Emotional Therapy
Training courses: (Currently going through IIQ accreditation process with ncfe)
- Certificate as an EQ Bodywork Therapist
- Diploma as an EQ Development Therapist
Training is part-time and can be done locally on a weekly basis, or distance learning. Both include some training in blocks which will be in Cliftonville. The minimum time of training is over a two-year period. It will depend on how much time the trainee puts into achieving the training requirements.
For those already qualified in the therapeutic field, subject to suitability, there may be the possibility of fast track training.
Once qualified, and with suitable experience, practitioners can apply to train as a trainer and supervisor.
